Civic Election Information

During the Winnipeg Civic Election, candidates for Mayor, City Councillor and School Trustees are elected. 

To vote for School Trustee, you must be:

• a Canadian citizen; and
• 18 years of age or older on Election Day (October 26, 2022); and
• an actual resident of the School Division for a period of at least 6 months (since April 26, 2022) and
• an actual resident in the School Division Ward on Election Day (October 26, 2022)

When & Where to Vote

Election Day is October 26th, 2022

If you prefer to vote prior to Election Day, advance voting will be available at city hall, community centres, shopping malls, universities and other locations beginning October 3rd.
